Hello Everybody,
We have a Happy Hour scheduled for 3-7pm on Friday, November 5th at the offices of Archer Investments at 4900 Falls of Neuse Road, Suite 105, Raleigh NC 27609. This is our kick off to the City of Oaks Marathon November 7th. We have around 10 running. That is awesome. Added to our Team is Adam Martin, Caroline and Lauren. Thank you, I look forward to meeting you. Also a long time friend Steve Tytran from my Hockey team is running. We ran together last Sunday. Special Thanks to Matt Archer and Tess Martin for Hosting the Happy Hour Kickoff!
We are going to order this year’s running shirt, the back is going to stay the same, the front is going to change a little. If you want one please let me know what size. It will cost $ 12, plus shipping if you are out of town. Just send me an email and I will send more details.
Quick shout out to Mike and Holly Redwine, Mike is a Senior Chief in the Navy, they are moving to Italy. Mike is the one that showed me how train “Hardcore”.
I even named a hill in Umstead Park after him. If you guys come to North Carolina let me know. I travel Eastern North Carolina frequently! It would be great to see you.
Looks like a lot of people are going to run the Myrtle Beach ½ Marathon in February(16th). My best friend Jamie Hess is registered for that race. I can’t wait to see it!
Rick Roebuck has a stress fracture and is not running the Marine Corps Marathon. But is still going to Washington with his family. Rick served in the Marines with Phil! If you guys are ever in NC please come and stay with us!
