Marathon Training to Begin!

Team Dykeman Runners,

This Saturday June 25th is the official start date to our Training!   This is our third running season.  Thank you to all.  Our goal is the Marine Corp Marathon October 30th.  It seems so far away, but it will be here before we know it.  The training runs are the most fun.  I can’t believe it has been 3 years since Captain Philip Dykeman was killed in Iraq.  We have remembered him in each of our runs.  Our Scholarship has been successful, and impacted the lives of the next generation.  But our job is not over, we can never forget!  Please invite anyone to come run with us.

Anyone that wants to run or walk with us.  Please come out.  We are going to meet at the IHOP on Six Forks Road Raleigh, this Saturday June 25th at 7am.  We will have a 3-4 run and a 6 mile run.  Always feel free to call me!

We have members from Italy, to California, Idaho to Florida, New York to North Carolina.  Run this weekend! Please Remember! and be Thankful!

I am not a Marine, but I run for one!

Always Faithful,

Andrew Bateman
